CE marking

The Construction Product Directive (CPD) organises the regulatory CE marking of building products to be sold on the French market and the entire European Union.
This marking proves that the products comply with the provisions of the European regulations (essential requirements concerning safety, public health and consumer protection), etc.

A certificate of conformity is delivered following tests carried out in CNPP's laboratories on the one hand, and an initial and regular production check on the other hand.

This regulatory marking is not a quality certification. It enables products to move freely throughout the European economic area.

CNPP is accredited by the COFRAC for its “CE marking – Evaluation of conformity” activities based on the NF EN 45011 standard: 1998 (General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems).
